- One dashboard for the numbers people usually keep in six browser tabs: live market snapshots, congressional trading disclosures, a statistical stock scanner, market headlines, financial calculators and personal budgeting. Everything is dated, everything is sourced, and it is built for research rather than for tips. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it never tells you what to buy.
- Where does the congressional trading data come from?
- Straight from the House and Senate financial disclosure systems, which are public record. We surface what members actually filed, presented the way they filed it: a dollar RANGE rather than an amount, with the reporting delay of up to 45 days shown rather than hidden. Any return figure beside a name is our own estimate, sized at the middle of the disclosed range and marked to the latest close, and we label it as an estimate every time it appears.
- How current is the market data?
- Every figure carries the time it was captured, so you always know what you are looking at rather than guessing. The feeds come from public and third-party sources and can be delayed, which is exactly why the timestamp is on the number instead of in the small print. Verify anything you intend to act on against the primary source.
- What does the stock scanner do?
- It ranks a list of stocks on statistical measures such as volatility and momentum and lets you sort by any of them, so the outliers in a few hundred rows are one click away instead of an afternoon in a spreadsheet. It describes what prices have already done, which is the honest and useful thing a scanner can do.
- How does the budgeting feature work?
- Set a monthly limit per category, then record each expense as its own dated entry. Recurring bills are tracked separately so a known payment is never a surprise, and a receipt can be attached to an expense as a note. Because every expense is a real entry rather than a running total, the months build into a history you can actually look back through.
